Privacy Policy

Nabeshimameicha Inc. (hereinafter, “the Company”) shall handle the Personal Information of Users in the course of providing its service on this website (hereinafter, “the Service”) in accordance with the terms of this Privacy Policy (hereinafter, “this Policy”).

 

Article 1 (Personal Information)

“Personal Information” shall be defined as information as well as content containing information that is deemed to be “personal information” under the Personal Information Protection Act, which includes information pertaining to an existing individual such as his/her full name, date of birth, residential address, telephone number, contact information, and all other descriptions from which the individual in question can be identified, as well as data that contains the individual’s physical appearance, fingerprint, voice print, health insurance card number, and all other information from which the individual in question can be identified (personal identification information).

    4. In the event that the following information is communicated to the User or announced in advance, and the Company has notified the Personal Information Protection Committee of its intentions accordingly:

      3. The means or method through which the information will be provided to the third party
      4. The fact that the Company will cease the provision of this Personal Information to the third party upon the request of the User in question
      5. The means by which the request in the preceding Item can be made
  2. Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding Paragraph, the following situations shall not constitute the provision of information to a third party.
    1. In the event that the Company entrusts the handling of Personal Information, either wholly or in part, to an external entity to the extent necessary for achieving the purpose of use of the information
    2. In the event that the Personal Information is provided in connection with the succession of the Company’s business as a result of a merger or other reasons
    3. In the event that the Personal Information of Users will be shared with and used by a particular person, and the User in question is notified in advance of that fact as well as the Personal Information that will be shared and used, the person with whom the Personal Information will be shared and used, the purposes of use of that particular person, as well as the full name or title of the person who will be responsible for the management of the Personal Information in question; or if the information described in this Item is published in a manner that allows the User in question to be easily aware of it

 

Article 6 (Disclosure of Personal Information)

  1. The Company will promptly disclose an individual’s Personal Information to him/her without delay upon his/her request. However, in the event that the disclosure of this information will result in any of the following situations, the Company reserves the right to refuse to disclose part or all of the Personal Information. If a decision has been made to not disclose this information, the individual in question will be informed without delay.
    1. In the event that the life, body, property, or other rights and interests of the individual in question, or those of a third party, may be harmed
    2. In the event that it may significantly hinder the proper functioning of the Company’s business operations
    3. In the event that it violates other existing laws and regulations
  2. Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding Paragraph, information besides Personal Information, such as historical information and key property information, will in principle not be disclosed.

 

Article 7 (Correction and Deletion of Personal Information)

  1. In the event that the User’s Personal Information owned by the Company is incorrect, he/she may request for the Company to correct, add, or delete his/her Personal Information (hereinafter, “Corrections”) by means of the procedure designated by the Company.
  2. In the event that the Company receives a request as described in the preceding Paragraph from the User and determines that it is necessary to comply with the request, it shall perform the necessary Corrections to the Personal Information without delay.
  3. In the event that Corrections have been performed based on the provisions of the preceding Paragraph, or if the Company has decided to not perform the Corrections, it shall notify the User accordingly without delay.

 

Article 8 (Termination of the Use of Personal Information)

  1. In the event that the Company is requested to terminate the use of or delete (hereinafter, “Terminate”) Personal Information by the individual in question because it has been handled in a manner that exceeds the scope of its purpose of use, or because it had been acquired through unauthorized means, the Company shall conduct the necessary investigation without delay.
  2. In the event that the Company determines that it is necessary to comply with the individual’s request based on the results of the investigation described in the preceding Paragraph, the Company shall Terminate the use of the Personal Information in question without delay.
  3. In the event that the Company has Terminated the use of the individual’s Personal Information based on the provisions of the preceding Paragraph, or if the Company has decided to not Terminate its use, it shall notify the individual accordingly without delay.
  4. Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding two Paragraphs, in the event that the Termination of the use of the Personal Information would incur significant expenses or is difficult for other reasons, and alternative measures necessary for protecting the rights and interests of the User can be taken, these alternative measures shall be taken.

 

Article 9 (Revisions to Privacy Policy)

  1. The Company reserves the right to revise the terms of this Policy without notifying Users, unless otherwise specified by this Policy or prohibited by law.
  2. The terms of the revised Privacy Policy shall take effect from the moment it is published on this website, unless otherwise specified by the Company.
